This is one of many short video segments which will be added to the Digital Tipping Point (DTP) archive. Let me tell you right up front that this segment is one of my favorite segments. Maria does a great job here of simplifying some complex concepts. One of the major problems for our film will be making the subject relevant to a newbie audience. maria gets us a lots closer to that goal with this interview segment...

This is one of many short video segments which will be added to the Digital Tipping Point (DTP) archive. In this particular segment, Maria continues with her brief history of Linux and GNU. She tells the newbie audience that Linux is the "core" of the software, and that GNU is a collection of substantial tools that completes the operating system. (I'm paraphrasing). Next, Maria gives a nice, snappy, short definition of Clayton Christensen's "disruptive technology" concept...
